Desert Mirage is a warm, one-thumb desert-at-dusk colour-hop arcade game.A sun-warmed orb hovers at the foot of a tower of slowly spinning rings, out where the dunes meet a dusk-violet sky. Every ring is split into four mirage colours -- sun-gold, terracotta, cactus teal and dusk magenta -- and they turn endlessly in the evening wind. Tap anywhere to lift the orb up through the shimmering air; the desert heat pulls it back down, so keep tapping to climb toward the horizon. The twist: the orb is one of those four colours, and it can only slip up through the arc of a ring that matches it. Hover just beneath a ring, read the spin, wait for your colour to swing into your path, then rise clean through the gap. Brush the wrong colour and you lose a sun.Cross a ring and the orb instantly recolours at random -- one moment sun-gold, the next teal -- so you have to read your new colour and re-plan on the fly. Gold stars hang in the dusk between some rings; rise through them for bonus points and a higher score.
